FAMILY FUN DAY

at the

BASS MUSEUM OF ART

Saturday, March 17, 2007


MIAMI BEACH, FL - (March 19, 2007) – The Bass Museum of Art and Her Imperial Highness Princess Thi-Nga of Vietnam invited children, parents, and others to attend a free day-long event that included artist workshops utilizing a variety of media, live music and dance presentations, a scavenger hunt, story telling, plus docent tours of the Imperial Jade Collection.

This free community outreach program was made possible by The Princess Thi-Nga Foundation.

H.I.H. Princess Thi-Nga welcomed families
to the Bass Museum.

Children enjoyed making clay figures,
that were one of the arts and crafts
activities offered.







 





Spectacular lion dancers entertained the children on the museum terrace.


 

Children that participated in "The Hunt for
Imperial Jade" got a free gift from
the Museum Shop to take home.



The Miami-Dade Public Library System graciously provided amazing storytelling for Family Day.
