VIP RECEPTION AND CELEBRATION HONORING
PROMISES OF PARADISE CONTRIBUTING DESIGNERS AND ARCHITECTS Wednesday, December 5, 2007 From 6:30 to 8:00PM the Bass Museum hosted an intimate VIP reception and celebration honoring designers and architects including Hilario Candela, Klara Farkas, Jorge Flemister, Norman Giller, Juanita May, Alfred Browing Parker, James Merrick Smith, and Kenneth Treister, whose work is featured in Promises of Paradise: Staging Mid-Century Miami. Princess Thi-Nga, Chairman of the Trustees and President of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Bass Museum greeted the honorees and congratulated them for their contributions to mid-century Miami. Guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres provided by Bill Hansen Catering, litchi martinis provided by Rain Vodka, and Eagle Rare Bourbon.
