CONCERT
From Spain and Beyond

Lyrical soprano Alexandra Marie, accompanied by renowned pianist and conductor Maestro Alfredo Munar, took special guests on a musical journey highlighting Spanish composers such as Manuel de Falla, Enrique Granados and Pablo Luna to the new world of Cuban and Argentinean composers. Songs such as "De España Vengo" from the Zarzuela "El Niño Judio" (Pablo Luna); "Danza del Fuego" from "El Amor Brujo" (Manuel de Falla), "Rosa la China" (Ernesto Lecuona); and "Los Pájaros Perdidos" (Astor Piazzola),were featured, along with the best of an International repertoire. A delicious dessert reception followed in the Bass Cafe.
