oct 18 Curator Culture
Curator Culture marks the launch of a new programming series developed by the Bass Museum of Art aimed at holding salon-style discussions with practicing curators from Miami and abroad. The first of these events on October 18 will consist of a conversation between several curators from Miami’s major art institutions, many of whom are relatively new to Miami. The discussion will be moderated by Silvia Karman Cubina, Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Bass Museum of Art, and the conversation will elaborate on the curators’ current interests, their roles within their institutions, and how their practice is affected by being in Miami.
