THE BASS CELEBRATES 60TH ANNIVERSARY WITH ANNUAL
NIGHT AT THE MUSUEM | FIELD TRIP
On Thursday, April 25, The Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach celebrated their annual membership event, Night at the Museum. Hosted by The Bass’ young philanthropist group, Future Bass, the evening paid tribute to the museum’s 60th anniversary by bringing to life the theme and art movement, “Psychedelia.”
The Bass members and VIP guests from the art, design and fashion community gathered for curated bites by Creative Edge Parties, wine by Dry Farm Wines and cocktails by Maestro Dobel.
Silvia Karman Cubiñá, Executive Director of The Bass said, “Night at the Museum is not just an event, but an immersive experience that transports visitors to a time that celebrated peace, love and art. We were excited to share our 60th anniversary with innovative partners to create an unforgettable evening for members of The Bass.”
Guests at Night at the Museum bid on an impressive list of Silent Auction items, which included donated artwork by a range of artists and hospitality packages from the best local hotel and restaurant partners. Artworks by artists including assume vivid astro focus, Hernan Bass, Carlos Betancourt, Noah Cribb, Guillermo Garcia Cruz, Emmett Moore and Antonia Wright, comprised the majority of Silent Auction items. The Silent Auction collected totaled more than $100,000 in value, all in support of The Bass’ exhibitions and outreach programs.
VIP Guests included: Argentine hotelier Alan Faena and his wife, fashion designer Grace Faena, real estate developer Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, art collector Cricket Taplin, renowned photographer Robin Hill, IP executive Spencer Slain and wife Elizabeth Slaine, gallerists Mindy Solomon, and City of Miami Beach Commissioners Kristen Rosen Gonzalez and former commissioner Michael Gongora.

Access to Night at the Museum, The Bass’ signature event, is provided for two (2) guests to museum members at the Affiliate level ($250) and above.
